Our Achievements By Years
1978
Bhagwati Woodcraft was founded in 1978 by Shri Prabhudayal Jangid in Mumbai,
specializing in the installation of wooden sports flooring.
2000
Shri Sunil Kumar Jangid, son of Shri Prabhudayal Jangid, took the next step by venturing into
the manufacturing of high-quality wooden sports flooring under the name
“Apex Sport Surfaces India” for badminton, basketball, squash, and
multi-purpose indoor courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
2007
Apex, in a short span of 7 years, successfully manufactured and installed a milestone
of 1000 indoor & outdoor sports surfaces.
2015–18
Partnering with internationally renowned tournaments, we reached the global stage:
- Premier Badminton League (PBL), 2015–18 – Successfully executed high-performance badminton courts.
- South Asian Games, 2016 – Successfully executed 4 squash courts at Guwahati, Assam.
2019–20
Incorporated Sports Master International LLP and launched the brand “SMI Padel”
with a vision to shape the future of Padel.
- Manufactured & installed first Padel court along with two squash courts at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain.
- Manufactured & installed first domestic Padel court at Mr. Noel Naval Tata’s private residence in Mumbai.
2022
Continuing our partnerships with internationally renowned tournaments:
- National Games of India, 2022 – Supplied and installed wooden surface basketball courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
- Asia’s U-18 Basketball Championship, 2022 – Installed FIBA-standard wooden basketball courts at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru.
2024
Constructed state-of-the-art Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium (VDN), Jaipur:
- Football ground certified in FIFA Quality for Hero I-League.
- 400m World Athletic running track.
- 3000 spectator seating capacity.
2025
Expanded into a state-of-the-art integrated Padel manufacturing facility with
an annual capacity to manufacture 500 Padel courts over an area of 15,000 sq. ft at Ahmedabad, India.
